Knab is a new online bank in The Netherlands. Building a completely new online bank in times of crisis asks for a combination of ambitious people and lots of perseverance. From the start Virtual Affairs has been involved in this complex project for the last two years.
- An user friendly website;
- A ‘My environment’ (closed/customer website) gives customers the possibility to have live chats with experts and create a financial overview and financial planning;
- A revolutionary mobile app.
"Virtual Affairs, together with all stakeholders (promoters, employees and business partners, played a major role in the development of our website and mobile app. We experienced their partnership and cooperation as very pleasant." René Frijters, CEO Knab.
Putting the customer first
Knab.nl was built together with customers. Ambitions and ideas were constantly adjusted with the intended target group. The (financial) situation of the customer is at the forefront of the entire user experience. Several partners where involved in this ambitious project. The website of the bank is based on the CMS of Sitecore, which in itself is bound to the mid-office solution of Five Degrees. For the online financial planning the system of Figlo is used. Thaler, the software of Sopra Banking Software is deployed for the payments. Cegeka is responsible for a smooth running infrastructure.
Nominations & Awards
In February 2013 ICT Media nominated Knab and its partners for Most Innovative Eco-system. Emerce (Dutch Interactive Awards) nominated Knab for Disrupter of the Year and best Online Service B2C. In September 2013 Knab and its partners won IT Project of the Year Award.
Knab is a new bank which communicates in an open and transparent way. Knab chose to adopt a more engaging and transparent approach to customer engagement. Knab breaks with tradition by (literaly) turning it all around: Knab puts the customer’s needs before those of the bank. Bank spelt backwards, with the K of customer (in Dutch 'Klant') first.
