Ditzo the big winner of the WebExellence Benchmark for damage insurers


Leaving the competition far behind Ditzo has won the WebExellence Benchmark Award 2008. DCE consultants have examined the online performance of insurers. Ditzo gained the highest score as a newcomer.

Virtual Affairs developed the successful website, where you can directly purchase an online insurance. The site scored particularly high on the interaction and transaction components and left competitors like Rabobank and Postbank far behind in the results.

The public also praised www.Ditzo.nl highly. Almost 2 million people have visited the website last year and nominated it for the “Website of the year” title – a People’s Choice Award.

“I’m proud that we are appreciated and we scored so well even in the first year of Ditzo”, said Directeur Ronald van Lier. “This appreciation also translates into a lot of new customers.” Ditzo entered the market at the end of October 2007 with a new car insurance concept.

In 2008, a number of other insurance companies followed Ditzo’s new standard in insurance. Ditzo is focused on the customer. They offer insurances which are easy to cancel, they won’t give you a hard time if you experience vehicle damage and there is no vagueness in the small print. Virtual Affairs developed the successful and transparent website, where the customer can directly purchase an insurance online.
