Government Accelerator Toolkit for MOSS websites

Internet is very important for the government to be able to offer information and services online. That’s why it designed the Web Guidelines quality model. Virtual Affairs developed the necessary adjustments for government website, which are based on MOSS.

Adjustments

In order to provide support for The Web Guidelines quality model, a number of standard SharePoint components and elements were adjusted or implemented:

Master pages
Control-adapters (custom navigation)
Rich HTML-field
XSL for the search results (XHTML-compliant)

Government Accelerator Toolkit MOSS 2007

Virtual Affairs optimised the required adjustments and incorporated them in a basic site template: The Government Accelerator Toolkit MOSS 2007. The templates can support multilingual websites and all of the text elements can be adapted to show the correct language.
