Heineken The City: A brand experience


A day before the opening of the Heineken Brand Experience Store (Heineken The City) the accompanying website www.heinekenthecity.nl went live; a stylish overview of what can be found in the Brand Experience Store, which covers a whole apartment block in Amsterdam.

Ultra modern website

The website shows what you can do and what you can buy in The City. From tickets for events and limited edition fashion collections to reservations of stylish meeting rooms.

Five Cornerstones

The website is build around 5 themes:
  • beer
  • fashion
  • music & studio
  • tickets & travel
  • board room

Unique services are offered at each of these areas, which give a VIP feeling to visitors, fashionistas and fans of events, travel and music.

Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) back-end

Virtual Affairs developed the back-office, based on WSS and Qi build the front-end (Flash). The data is exchanged with Flash by means of an XML interface.
