Quion is the largest independent third party servicer in the Netherlands for mortgages and consumer credit. They conduct many different activities related to closing and maintaining loans on behalf of banks, insurers and pension funds. The market for complex financial products is changing rapidly, as are customer needs.
Quion is responding to these changes by offering the customers of its business partners an online portal which gives them access to their loan information. In this way, Quion helps its business partners serve their customers online. Virtual Affairs was responsible for the interaction and graphic design, including the realisation of this secure client environment.
The online environment provides the consumer with a simple overview of the amount and status of their loan. They can download annual and quarterly statements as well as review information about the expiry date of a fixed rate period and the amount of interest charged. The online environment is future-proof and designed in a way that it can be easily converted into the corporate design of the various business partners Quion has.
The next steps in the portal development will be related to new and additional functionality that will enable consumers to change data themselves. For Quion’s client Banque Paribas, we integrated the financial planning capabilities that were provided by Figlo in the consumer portal. The portal is ready, from a technical standpoint, for single sign-on (SSO) which enables a more direct integration with the myzones of several business partners.
