Health Insurers Univé, VGZ, IZA and Trias have merged into one organization. Striving to create a sense of unity in the merger organization working activities, working locations and internal structures are being redesigned internally.
Challenge: Corporate intranet
Univé acknowledges that striving towards a consistent and transparent organizational culture demands a lot of its staff. Adapting the internal structures has been seized as an opportunity to implement the next generation style of working. Univé has contracted Virtual Affairs to design and implement an
intranet that is widely accepted within the organization.
Approach: Gaining staff information
The first phase evolves around gaining and merging existing publications from the four ‘old’ intranet environments. The new intranet has been created with considerable participation of staff. The
MONCE-concept offers many standard options, which have been configured to the exact needs of Univé.
Result: Fast and efficient intranet
Anticipating on the structures of the new Univé organization, Virtual Affairs has already started with a corporate intranet. This supports the employees to convert their mind states from several organizational cultures to one share culture. Per business unit, one central editorial department and separate content is available.
