Intranet to support flexible working

SNS REAAL is a Dutch service provider specialized in Insurance and banking, its goal is to be the favourite retail specialist amongst consumers and the SME segment. SNS REAAL is converting internal processes to support the new style of flexible working, more flexible working times and more flexible workplaces.

Challenge: Internal communication, cooperation and sharing of knowledge in one location

For SNS REAAL the intranet is a widely accepted, personalized part of the workplace. No top-down communication platform, but an intranet created by and used by employees. Every worker is to be able to take his or her own initiatives and to react to other publications.

Approach: ‘anyplace, anytime, anywhere’

The starting point of this project is to provide access to information and individuals ‘anyplace, anytime, anywhere’. Virtual Affairs delivered a functionally based starting page and organizational sites for cooperation and publication. The MONCE intranet also offers knowledge sites with wiki, blog and forum integration.

Result: All-employee intranet

Virtual Affairs, in cooperation with Microsoft en e-office, delivered a brand new intranet for SNS REAAL. We constructed an all-employee intranet. The MONCE intranet directly connects to the SNS REAAL infrastructure.
