Feminine insight into insurance
www.Queens.nl is a new insurance website made especially for women, launched by the Goudse insurance company. The new website reaches out to a specific female target group offering special female-oriented insurances, services, royalties and “glossy” extra’s. It begins with car insurance with extra’s, such as a Queens Card and insurance of the driver’s purse. Queens.nl is innovative and wants to expand its market share in private casualty insurances with online insurances.
Business question: online sales channel for car insurances
De Goudse was looking for a user friendly solution to manage the content of the Queens insurance website. Virtual Affairs developed the Queens.nl porta in cooperation with Goudse and the four other partners, Apcare, Traffic Builders, RedHook and Felison.
Solution: Microsoft .NET technology
Virtual Affairs used the SiteFinity content management system. The SiteFinity CMS is based on Microsoft .NET. Its most important characteristics are user friendliness and (technical) flexibilty.
We were responsible for:
- ready-to-use master pages, templates en controls
- adjust SiteFinity for central management and re-use of content and pictures by the customer
- short training, so the customer can maintain the site
- design, according the supplied draft concept
- integration of the funnel in the website
Result: fast and simple online insurance process

www.Queens.nl we realized a completely new website targeted at a very specific market. The customer developed templates and controls ensure optimal maintenance freedom by the customer:
- homepage, forms (mailto) and standard generic content control
- html-pages for the newsletter, forum, FAQ (list), poll, news, events and blogs
- incorporated application (funnel) to conclude car insurances online (Queens of the Road)
- simple content maintenance by the customer
