An intranet to cooperate within projects
Nassau Insurance is an independent international insurance agency. For over 50 years this insurance agency offers company related damage insurances form its offices in Rotterdam, Cologne, Munich, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Paris and London.
Challenge: Receive and Deliver
The intranet of Nassau contained lots of information, but did not form the core from where employees were able to share information and knowledge. Besides distributing information, the new to develop intranet had to enable employees to engage with each other in an interactive manner.
Approach: an user friendly intranet with an appealing design.
A hard demand in this project was the use of
proven Microsoft technology, in this specific case
SharePoint with our own
MONCE was used. For the employees of Nassau, Virtual Affairs developed an appealing and user- friendly intranet, in which project based operations and collaborations amongst departments was made possible. Each label has a distinct look and feel in the intranet.
Result: More than just a database
Nassau’s new intranet is more than just a database: besides an easy way of browsing through hundred of thousand of insurance documents, the new intranet is also a place where employees meet up and work together in a project based manner. Since an increasing number of international associated parties are connecting to this user-friendly intranet, it has really become the core of the entire organization.
