The knowledge platform Electromagnetic fields and Health is a joint collaboration of RIVM, TNO, KEMA, GGD’S, Telecom Agency and ZonMw.

Challenge: Providing transparent information

The internet holds many discussion platforms on electromagnetic fields and the effects that these fields have on humans. The government wants to stimulate the distribution of information based on facts and proven research in a transparent manner. This joint knowledge leads to reliable and transparent information.

Approach: website for a broad audience

We developed a website with CMS Sitefinity and Microsoft .NET for press – and information releases towards the audience. All participating institutions form opinions regarding facts and research on the topic. Virtual Affairs empowered the participating institutions to fully manage the information regarding these press – and information releases.

Result: Clear information that is easy to manage

The knowledge platform now has a website that is user friendly with an appealing and clear design. The participating institutions now have a means by which they can distribute reliable information thus limiting miscommunication and confusion. The content in the knowledge platform is easy manageable.
