Challenge: A new, integrated IT-structure
FNV Bondgenoten wanted to replace their current IT structure for an integrated, modern solutions. Doing so, Virtual Affairs has replaced the financial administration, member administration, knowledge systems and the extranet; all in one big operation. In addition to
Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and CRM Axapta for the member administration,
SharePoint has been deployed for the
intranet and extranet.
Approach: Self-service, process integration and sharing of knowledge
Virtual Affairs designed and developed a new intranet and extranet for FNV Bondgenoten. The extranet is meant for all members and shows user-based content such as contribution dates and employee data.
Result: More contact with unionists and efficient administrative processes
With the new IT Structure, FNV Bondgenoten has gained more contact with its members and the administrative processes have become more efficient. The extranet offers FNV members access to personalized information concerning their membership and industry-related fringe benefits. This has supported a drastic decrease of contacts with the call-centres.
