How does ChannelRight work?

ChannelRight contains a ‘System Development Kit’ (SDK) that creates ‘Product Screen Templates’ (PST). In these templates are all the possibilities of a product recorded, such as product definitions and validation- and calculation rules. In case there is, within the existing environment of an insurer, a product engine present, then this will be available for use.

The Configurator

The templates form the input for the Configurator. Content management, product management and theme management can take place by means of the Configurator. Links with the back office or different (external) systems also take place via the Configurator. In the end it is the Configurator that decides the presentation, look and feel of online portals.

Templates

ChannelRight offers a wide range of templates. The following templates have been developed and are available:

  • Car insurance (MTPL)
  • Car insurance (CASCO)
  • Life insurance
  • Fire and theft insurance
  • Liability insurance
  • Pension
  • Mortgage
  • Integration in existing environment

The simple and fast integration in an existing (IT-) environment is one of ChannelRight’s strengths. Our solution can be connected with back office systems through web services. It is furthermore possible to establish connections with other internal and external systems, such as CRM- systems or systems for license plate- and zip code registrations with relative ease. It is also possible to integrate with an existing product engine. If such a product engine is not available, ChannelRight offers it as part of the complete solution. ChannelRight is based on modern Microsoft.NET technology en supports Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
